NEW PLAYER SIGNING

We are delighted to announce the return of former West Bridgford RFC colt Liam Hucknall.

The sharp dressing, hard running 2nd row / back row will add further size and experience to the pack and will be a familiar face to many at the club.

Liam has played for a number of clubs in the National League Rugby namely Leicester Lions Rugby Club The Burton Rugby Football Club Ltd. Harrogate Rugby and most recently Nuneaton Rugby Club.

Liam comments, “Really excited to be rejoining West Bridgford after my stint at the club when I was a colt. After speaking to Gareth over the last few years I am keen to be part of this exciting team/squad he is building and looking forward to a testing season in the new leagues.”

Head coach Gareth Kerr adds, “ I love the whole story of Liam coming back to the club. We’d always encourage any player with ambition to seek the highest level of rugby they can and Liam has enjoyed many successful years doing that. It’s great that we are now at a level where he’s able to play the level of rugby he wants and play in the shirt he loves. He will add a huge amount to the club as both a player and a human. Can’t wait to have him on board”
