Our first non-competitive match of the season saw us travelling to Ashby. Can we thank everyone who made the trip there to see the boys play, we needed every one of them. It was lucky that we don't keep score at this age as the number of fingers required to keep count was not high!
The trip was a very bruising encounter where we met a very well drilled, if not all together clean, opposition. The boys really dug deep and it was great to see all of them playing their part at not giving up for an hours worth of hard attritional rugby.

Mercifully its training at the ground this week, normal time. Its our turn to 'help' in the kitchen so any volunteers would be very much appreciated. We wont be rota'd back on until next year for this. There is also kit available to buy from the club house.

Most exciting news is that Dan and Mark are back, their helium balloon escapade came to a end when the wind left their sails somewhere in California, which incidentally on this day in 2003 voted Arnold Schwarzenegger as governor. They have both expressed their relief at returning after the Ashby game

Finally the club are now checking who has yet to pay their subs - I will be in touch, but ultimately if you haven't paid by the next match you wont be able to play!
