Hi all ,and welcome to the end of seasons review for WBRFC U11s.

One thing for me to say firstly is i hope everyone ,mums .dads brothers, sisters, aunties ,uncles and the the boys have enjoyed themselves as much as i have?,we have had another brilliant season with superb support home and away,a massive thankyou from me and the team is due.
We played 15 matches this season, with a few being lost to snow/frost etc,but generally the weather was ok this term.

The good news is we played in the NLD festival and won the Plate final, the 2nd highest award there is for the 2nd year running, also we won the NLD bowl final as U9s so thats 3 years running my boys have won a major award.
Thats a superb effort from each and every one of you guys, also we won the Holt festival plate final this season too,a very well organised event with some very good teams there this year, but we did it !!
Out of the 15 matches we played, and heres the good news......we won 11,drew 2 and only lost 2 games all year, scoring 425 points not forgetting 2 games we didnt have kicking in(both were away games)in those 2 games we scored 17 trys so that could have been another 34 points!!!!,but that still averages 28.3 points per game,we conceeded only 102 points in the 15 games thats a fantastic ratio of just 6.8 points conceeded per game ,again testiment to the boys determination to give it their all for the team.
We also recruited well with the good name of West Bridgford rfc being spread around as THE team to play for in the NG postcode area with 6 new boys coming down to give this great game a go,and they all stayed! (must be doing something right ;-) ),overall though a very rewarding season ,but theres a few sad events that happened,
Firstly Noah Bartram in only the 2nd game of the season away at Ilkeston ,damaged all his knee ligaments running,he just pulled up fell over and the poor lad has had major operations all year ,the good news hes back on the road to recovery,i see him most days doing the school run and hes always got a smile on his face,i hope it wont be too long before hes back for Bridggy, keep up the hard work Noah and im sure youll be back.
Also Ruariadh playing at the Holt festival ,tackled a huge boy and took the full force of him plus getting pole axed to the floor didnt help also, and my flying Scotsman had to be air lifted to hospital, again though hes back in a Bridggy shirt with no lasting injuries thank goodness.
Aside from that, its all good ive loved every minute of this season, cant wait for the new one to start(although im looking forward to the odd lye in ! ),have a great summer, keep in touch and ill see you all for pre season training ,dates to follow,
Regards Paul and the team
