City Secondary School Competition
The club held the Y10/11 City Festival which involved the following school:-
The Festival was held over three weeks with finals on the last week. Teams played each other over the first two weeks (five games per team) to gain league positions.
In the final week the top three played each other in one group, and the bottom three in another other group. (two games per team).
The winners of the competition were Djanogly, who were unbeaten throughout the competition.
The aim for the City Festivals is to get Schools and lads playing rugby first and foremost and then introducing them to the club environment. On each Tuesday there were approx 100 lads playing rugby down at West Bridgford RFC, many of which expressed an interest in playing the club.
